WickedInfo.com recently caught up with GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal. An excerpt from th einterview is available below.

Q: Are there plans already in the works for the next Guns N' Roses album?

RT: "Right now the only thing we've got going on is looking at touring. There's nothing to be said yet about anything beyond that. I know it sounds cryptic and like I'm holding back or something. It's no secret that there's other music from the Chinese Democracy days, it's just a question of what's going to happen with them. I guess that's up to Axl and what he wants to do with them."

Q: Is the plan currently to tour through 2011?

RT: "Hopefully, hopefully we'll keep it going. At this point, shit man, I want to make some fucking music. I'm itchin'. I need to make something that comes from this band, in this decade. I've been telling them for a long time that before every leg of the tour I would love to just go into the studio for a week together and just bust out a song and give it to radio stations, make it available for downloads, and play it live. After a couple of legs we'd have a good batch of music of our own."

NME.com recently issued the following:

Reading And Leeds festivals take place this weekend (August 27th - 29th). Here, organiser Melvin Benn reveals how last-minute preparations are going...

"In terms of Guns N' Roses [a recent Twitter hoax suggested they’d cancelled Reading and Leeds], I'm absolutely confident about them showing up. I'm obviously more concerned about their ability to be onstage on time. But I am confident of them turning up.

I mean, it is certainly an option for them to go on late, but that for me is just about disrespecting their fans. There isn't an option for them to carry on late. You may remember they played Leeds festival in 2002, and they went on after they should have finished."
