DEADLY BLESSING - Two Shows Announced; DORO Opening Slot Included

Being billed as Blessing Bash, the current and original line-up of NJ thrashers DEADLY BLESSING will be passing the torch to new act OF WRATH AND RUIN. Sponsored by Apollyon Records and both local FM affiliates WMMR and WYSP, the festivities take place October 16th, at the Pennant East, in Bellmawr. In addition to the show, this will also be a Volunteers Of America food drive, who ask attendees to bring a nonperishable item, which is not limited to food: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, razors, shampoo/conditioner, hygeine products, baby products, etc. Tickets and more info can be obtained via Kat at katalysst@yahoo.com.
As previously reported, Deadly Blessing will be opening for German metal queen DORO PESCH, when she stops at the Pennant on October 1st. Her bassist Nick Douglas began his musical career in Blessing and is rumored to take the stage for a song or two with his old mates that night. The club's website if Pennanteast.net.
