German extreme metallers NEAERA have announced that they will perform at the upcoming release party for their upcoming fifth album, Forging The Eclipse, scheduled for October 23rd in the band's hometown of Münster.

Says the band, "This special occasion demands a special location, which is why we chose the former Metropolis cinema as the battleground for this one. We hope that the Metropolis facilities will serve as a worthy site for the staging of what might become the loudest, sweatiest and maybe nudest (sic!) Braveheart re-enactment ever to be put into practice, BRUHAR HAR HAR. Come party and bang heads with us, and don't forget the popcorn!

For this record release show we will print limited hardtickets which you will be able to order from today (September 1st) exclusively via Green Hell (Münstershop or online thru www.greenhell.de) or via www.imperial-clothing.de.

Comments singer Benny Hilleke: "From the artist's view a new album is always the best of course, so I spare you this part (although it's indeed true, haha…). Forging The Eclipse combines a lot of elements that have been typical for Neaera for years. Means the songs are brutal, but straight forward, melodic and excellent to shout along with. Thanks to the great work of producers Ali Dietz, Andy Classen and Tue Madsen we are more than pleased with the result, in fact the album is hammering us a fat smile onto our faces! The graphical realization of Forging The Eclipse was in the hands of long-time Neaera partner Terje Johnsen (KEEP OF KALESSIN). The visualization of the album title ends up in a plain, straightforward but concise concept.

Forging The Eclipse will be released as a limited Digipak on October 22nd/25th via Metal Blade Records in Europe.

On November 28th, Neaera will hit the road in Europe with ALL THAT REMAINS, CALIBAN, SOILWORK and BLEED FROM WITHIN.
