Black Metallers EPISODE 13 have signed with Norway’s Misantrof ANTIRecords for the release of the band’s third full length album, which will be titled Death Reclaims The Earth.

Misantrof, the label that was founded, and is headed by CARPATHIAN FOREST bass player Daniel Vrangsinn, has scheduled the release of Death Reclaims The Earth for the fall.

Track listing for the seven-track album, is as follows:

'Ars Moriendi'

'Physical Comatose & Mental Overdose'

'Unmensch'

'Ignorance Is Bliss'

'Ultimate Sterilization'

'Worthless'

'Spread His Word'

Death Reclaims The Earth is the follow up to 2008’s Pitch Black and sees the return of vocalist Ozan Akyol, who, together with guitarist Murat and drummer Nursuz (ZIFIR), founded Episode 13 in 2001.

The band’s line up, both live and on the album, includes Sermet Durusan on bass and Serkan Zengin on guitars. With Akyol, firmly back at the helm for Death Reclaims The Earth, Episode 13, one of the few Turkish bands to have gained acceptance in Europe, debuted three tracks from the album at Norway’s Inferno Festival in 2009, and spent the time since then completing work on the album, as well as touring in Russia, Finland and Denmark, and appearing at London’s Infernal Damnation Fest.

Misantrof ANTIRecords was set up by Daniel Vrangsinn with the specific aim of offering an alternative to mainstream labels by taking no profits from any sales that are generated, and ensuring that the artists themselves retain complete control of every aspect of their work.

Like all Misantrof releases, Death Reclaims The Earth will be available for free download.

Commenting on the band’s decision to sign with Misantrof, drummer Nursuz said: “Everyone knows that finding a record deal is a lengthy process, especially these days, and the important thing for us was always to get the album released as quickly as possible, because to my mind this is the album that defines where the band is headed in the future, and that’s a future we wanted to explore immediately.

Our manager also manages Daniel and she introduced us to him when we were playing in Oslo, so he had been aware of us, and what we were doing, for some time.

He is a musician we have long admired, and his whole ethos for Misantrof is very interesting, so we decided to approach him when the album was ready.

Fortunately he liked it and signed us straight away”.

Two tracks - 'Ars Moriendi' and 'Physical, Comatose And Mental Overdose' - from Death Reclaims The Earth, are streaming on the band’s MySpace page.
