DECAPITATED Guitarist Offers Update On Former Singer Covan's Condition - "He Is Recovering And It's Still Not Good"

Metal Injection recently conducted an interview with had the privilege of getting a few minutes to speak to DECAPITATED founding guitarist Wac?aw "Vogg" Kie?tyka during the New York City stop of the Summer Slaughter tour.
During the interview, Vogg gave an update on former vocalist, Adrian "Covan" Kowanek who was left in a coma after a tragic 2007 accident while touring in Russia: "It's a hard situation with him right now. He stills needs a lot of time. He is recovering and it's still not good. But it's making progress. He seems to be okay in the future, but he still needs a lot of time."
Vogg also revealed that the band will be writing a new album, with hopes to release it in 2011, "hopefully in time for the summer festivals". Watch the entire interview below:
