The 2010 edition of the Brutal Assault Festival took place August 12th - 14th in Josefov, Czech Republic.

Organizers check in with the following post-festival update:

"We have finally got sober from the actual festival impression so the time has come to sumarize a bit the 15th edition of the festival.

First and foremost I would like to express a big thanks for all the people who have visited the festival and we do believe that the pile of musical experience you recieved was worth it. Some negative aspects which stained the festival a bit are explained below…

FEAR FACTORY pre-party was the first blow and this has been a mutual discomunication between us, management and booking agency and especially once the bus broke down again it was already clear that the guys will just not be able to make the show happen, unfortunately…

Otherwise we were pleased with the warm-up party inside the fortress. Several local bands attracted massive crowd and it was really great party.

Change on the schedule – this year was pretty unfortunate and we will try to do our best to make it better in the future. If we do not count one deal which was not ideal and the question is if the mistake was the booking agency or us, the remaining things were going crazy from the very heavy traffic, the unexpectacly long delays of the planes, changes of departures of some planes and many different cases…

I would like to make a promise that nothing like this will ever happen again but this is all about actual circumstances and sometimes there are some obstacles you can not sort out so I can make a promise to improve and manage the best system to let you know about all such changes in time…

The weather situation this year was also sometimes crazy, especially on Friday’s night, you surely remember… Despite of this fact you were still optimistic and cheerful, thank you for it!

Also your interest in VIP camping was enormous, for the next year we plan to expand the capacity. Widely used was also secured parking place near the Camping site entrance.

Apart from all these small issues I hope you have enjoyed the festival and we will see each other next year again!"
