According to ABC6.com, a motorcycle ride kicks off soon to raise money for the dozens of children who lost a parent in The Station nightclub fire.
The fourth annual ride starts Saturday (September 25) at 9:30 a.m. at Toll Gate High School in Warwick and ends 76 miles later in Plainfield, Connecticut.
The ride is intended to raise money to pay education costs for children who lost a parent in the 2003 fire, which killed 100 people.
The blaze at the West Warwick club began when pyrotechnics from the rock band Great White ignited cheap soundproofing foam.
The ride is sponsored by The Station Education Fund, whose co-founders include Jeffrey and Michael Derderian, the brothers who owned the nightclub.
The ride was originally scheduled for last month but was postponed by rain.
