September 28, 2010, 14 years ago
ALL SHALL PERISH’s new guitarist and Berklee College of Music graduate, Francesco Artusato, recently partnered up with Guitar World Magazine to present an in-depth instructional video lesson series breaking down how to play some of the most intricate parts from his all instrumental solo endeavor entitled Chaos And The Primordial.
The disc is an all out technical shred fest features 10 truly diverse tracks that takes the listener on an all encompassing musical journey and the depth and diversity in which Artusato does so is astonishing. Click here to watch the third lesson now (scroll down to access all video lessons).
Artusato checks in with the following report from All Shall Perish’s current European tour: “I’m currently in Europe (UK at this moment) for the Hell on Earth 2010 Tour with my band All Shall Perish. It’s really great to be touring in so many different countries. I’ve been also busy working on new lessons and material (especially new music for the band) while on the road and we are all getting ready to hit the studio for writing and recording the next record when we’ll be back in the US.
You can check out one of my new video lesson (#3) on Guitarworld.com. This time I’m going to show you the intro, the verse and the bridge section of the song called ‘Ceased Time'. This song has more of a rock type of vibe compared to the rest of the album Chaos And The Primordial and a lot of the parts are based around variations of different drum grooves with a large variety of time signatures and odd meters.
Thanks again to everybody to check out my lessons and thanks again to Guitar World for hosting them. Feel free to check out Myspace.com/FrancescoArtusatoMusic to sample some new tracks or leave me a message.”
