SIXX: A.M.- New Album Nearing Completion

As previously reported, MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx' SIXX: A.M. will record an album to be released in conjunction with Sixx's new book, This Is Gonna Hurt, with songs inspired by Sixx's photographs. Producer/engineer/songwriter James Michael has checked in with an update on the record.
With regards to the book This Is Gonna Hurt, the William Morrow Imprint of Harper Collins Publishers has announced March 22nd as the release date for This Is Gonna Hurt. The 224 page hardcover will feature a foreword by Sixx's ex-girlfriend, tattoo artist and star of reality TV show L.A. Ink, Kat Von D.
In an August 31st Twitter posting, Sixx wrote: “So happy I just finished my new book. Next time remind me to use a ghostwriter.”
