hot flashes news

1349 have checked in with the following tour update:

"Those of you that have read our tour statements will know about our enthusiasm and excitement when it comes to the Weltenbrand tour. And, Ladies and Gentlemen, it is on! The two first shows on the tour are done, and in the hour of writing we are about to set Baltimore on fire.

Weltenbrand has so far proven to meet all our expectations of this project. Musically and spiritually the cooperation between 1349 and TRYPTIKON is one of potency and dynamics. We love to share the stage with Tom G. and his eminent Tryptikon, and it seems like the audience truly appreciate this fantastic billing as well.

The beginning of a tour like this always imply certain difficulties and challenges, but still our first show in NY seemingly had its qualities. Here is what The Village Voice had to report :

We let this end the first chapter in our open tour diary. We will keep adding chapters regularly from now on, so check our Myspace-page for updates.

Hail Hell! Till next time – and see you out there!"

This is 1349's second North American tour in support of their most recent album, Demonoir; the band supported CANNIBAL CORPSE earlier this year, but missed several dates due to visa issues and a volcanic eruption in Iceland.
