Sweden's ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET, featuring former THE CROWN vocalist Johan Lindstrand, have revealed the cover art for their upcoming fourth full-length album, The Dark Epic. Check out the artwork below:

The band have been recording The Dark Epic at Black Lounge Studio with producer Jonas Kjellgren of SCAR SYMMETRY.

Vocalist Johan Lindstrand (formerly of THE CROWN) recently stated: "I'm really stoked about entering the studio with my bandmates again. And to once again work with Jonas Kjellgren feels fantastic. He did an awesome job on Grim Tales and I truly believe that his work will be even better this time. Our new songs are very suited for his extremely heavy productions. 9 dark, heavy and brutal death metal songs will soon be delivered at your doorstep. Embrace it and join us."

Daily updates and a studio diary can be found at this location.

Drummer Marek Dobrowolski reports:

"Hello folks. Marek here with an update from Black Lounge / The Abyss studio. So the process have begun, we are recording a new album, The Dark Epic... and what a killer album it will be.

I starded this morning off pretty early about 7 AM. Changed all the heads and tuned and rigged my kit. Jonas showed up as planned about 9 AM and started putting mics on the drums and preparing all his stuff.

By lunch the linecheck and basic sound was complete and we were ready to start tracking. We grabbed a quick bite and then started.

First off was 'The Dark Epic'... then 'Devil's Harlot', followed by 'Zombie Syndrome' and finishing up the day with 'Inside The Head Of God'.

If felt really good to get such start from day one. I'm really happy with today, tired but happy."

Metal Mind Productions recently reported:

With a name like One Man Army And The Undead Quartet you shouldn't expect anything less than pure sonic Armageddon and this is exactly what this band delivers. Under the command of Johan Lindstrand (ex-vocalist of the legendary death metal act The Crown), this metal monstrosity proves that old-school thrash and melodic death metal can easily be combined into a perfect blend of sheer aggression and top notch musicianship. Metal Mind Productions presents the exclusive reissues of 21st Century Killing Machine (2006) and Error In Evolution (2007) – the band's first two LPs – which are all the proof you need to get sucked into the world of ultimate metal annihilation!

Both albums will be available in new digipak editions, each limited to 2000 copies and include bonus tracks. The material was remastered using tube technology, digitally edited on a golden disc. Metal Mind Productions set up the release date for November, 22nd in Europe and January, 11th 2011 in USA (via MVD).
