'80's hard rockers DOKKEN performed to a crowd of nearly 2,500 people at Rocktober Fest at Chester's Harley Davidson in Mesa, Arizona on October 17th. The concert was a benefit for the Fallen Police Officers of Arizona. DOKKEN hit the stage at 8:30 PM and performed a 75 - minute set full of hits including 'It's Not Love', 'Dream Warriors', 'Breakin The Chains' and 'Alone Again.'
When asked about the status of his vocal surgery Don Dokken remarked: "The surgery is now tentatively scheduled for December."
When asked about the band's performance and spontaneous crowd singalong Dokken commented: "My good friend RONNIE JAMES DIO (BLACK SABBATH, HEAVEN & HELL, RAINBOW, ELF) used to tell me, 'Don, if the audience doesn't want to sing along they shouldn't be here.' I love Arizona. Where else can you drive a Harley without wearing a helmet?"
