The Haunted singer Peter Dolving - on behalf of Musicvs.com whose current mission is to increase the awareness about marrow donation and leukemia - is asking for help regarding BEHEMOTH leader Nergal's battle with the disease. Check out the video below.

Nergal’s battle with leukemia has raised the metal community’s awareness of the need of bone-marrow donors in general, and as his longtime band-mate bassist Tomasz Wróblewski (aka Orion) told BraveWords.com recently that becoming a bone-marrow donor isn’t as strenuous as people think.

“It’s simple. A lot of people think that registering at a bone-marrow bank or being a donor of bone-marrow involves some kind of surgery and going through hell in a hospital, but it’s nothing like that. Registering at a bank takes just a few minutes to fill in some papers, and then you give a sample of your saliva so that its DNA can be tested. That’s pretty much it, and a chance to be a match for somebody who’s unrelated is less than one in forty thousand, so it’s a long way for anybody to find his match. Getting as many people as we can get to register increases his chances of finding one.”
