REO SPEEDWAGON have re-released their Christmas album, Not So Silent Night… Christmas With REO Speedwagon, through Sony Music/ Legacy, produced by Joe Vannelli, along with associate producer and lead singer Kevin Cronin, in stores now.

The album features 13 original tracks and three bonus tracks for the new release - Christmas classics with a unique REO Speedwagon musical twist.

“Christmas is a very special time of year for all of us in REO Speedwagon as we have always enjoyed spending the time with our families,” said Cronin. “Making a Christmas album was an exciting endeavor for us and the three new tracks add to the holiday spirit we’ve already brought to the fans with classics that everyone loves.”

After being inspired to create an album unlike anything they have before, original members, Kevin Cronin (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Bruce Hall (bass, vocals), and Neal Doughty (keyboards), and twenty-year REO veterans, Dave Amato (lead guitar, vocals) and Bryan Hitt (drums), were excited to put together the band’s first Christmas album. They gave these classics the full REO production treatment, providing a unique spin for the yuletide season. REO Speedwagon’s first Christmas album, Not So Silent Night... Christmas With REO Speedwagon, features a total of 16 Christmas classics, Speedwagon style, three of which are previously unreleased bonus tracks: 'Sleigh Ride', 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing', and 'I Believe In Santa Claus', Kevin Cronin’s new acoustic Christmas song.

Fans who purchase the album through the band’s website, or merch booths at their live shows, receive exclusive autographed copies and an additional exclusive downloadable track, 'We Three Kings'.

Not So Silent Night... Christmas With REO Speedwagon is a unique new entry into the classic rock Christmas category. The album is available on both CD and DVD, the latter as part of Legacy’s The Yule Log Edition series, which pairs classic Christmas albums with Yule Log and other holiday imagery.
