SONATA ARCTICA have been confirmed to perform at the Bang Your Head!!! festival in Balingen, Germany on July 16th, 2011. They will join the previously announced CRIMSON GLORY, IMMORTAL, OVERKILL, DAD, CRASH DIET and ASPHYX at the outdoor event July 15-16, 2011. For event information go to this location.

Sonata Arctica recently issued the following related update:

"Ever wondered what it would be like to be on tour? All the ups and downs, drinks and burgers from the South American tour of Sonata Arctica will now be brought to you absolutely free. Starting with Part 1 on Monday, November 15th, the movie has an undisclosed number of parts with a new part being released every Monday. Join the band as they travel through South America, starting from Finland on October 14th and all the way through the adventures until they get back home on November 1st."

As previously reported, an additional show has been confirmed for Sonata Arctica's upcoming European tour in February/March 2011. The tour will now kick off in Bratislava, Slovakia on February 24th.
