An album description states: There are bands that loose their soul when they have to substitute their frontman, some of them turn into deluxe cover bands, some others instead proved to be able to reinvent their career and to start a new life: AC/DC with Brian Johnson, BLACK SABBATH with Ronnie James Dio, IRON MAIDEN with Brice Dickinson, DEEP PURPLE...
When Foreigner had to find a substitute for Lou Gramm, many were wondering how the band could keep their strong legacy to their prestigious past. 60 million albums sold, and an amount of hit singles. Kelly Hansen soon showed "how". He is simply one of the most gifted voices you can find in rock today and his stage presence is impressive. Together with Mick Jones he started a new life for the band.
The first album with Hansen, Can't Slow Down, has reached a Top 20 chart position in the US and Germany and charted Top 40 mostly everywhere else in the world.
Foreigner are constantly touring for more than a year, establishing themselves all over the globe as the quintessential American rock band - despite Jones being proudly English.
Together with Mick Jones and Kelly Hansen, a lineup of super-talented musicians completes the definitive version of this extraordinary band: Jeff Pilson (ex-DOKKEN) on bass, Tom Gimbel (ex-AEROSMITH touring band on guitars and sax) and Brian Tichy (WHITESNAKE) on drums.
Jones has also reached unique success as a producer. His work with VAN HALEN and BILLY JOEL resulted in two of the best sellers ever in the US music business: 5150 and Stormfront.
As previously reported, JOURNEY will be joined by STYX and Foreigner on a UK tour next scheduled for next summer. The dates include:

On Journey's return to Britain, guitarist Neal Schon said: "We're so excited to be coming back to the UK to play arenas with our friends Foreigner and Styx. Be prepared to hear a lot of hit songs."
Foreigner guitarist Mick Jones adds: "This will be one of the main events of the summer. Bands who represent the magic era in classic rock together for the first time in my home country. Get ready to rock!"
Styx guitarist James 'JY' Young remarks: "Styx has always enjoyed sharing the stage with Journey, going back to the Santa Monica Civic Center in 1976. The tour we did with them in 2003 across the United States was an amazing success of sold-out arenas. Journey, Foreigner and Styx seems like a can't-miss 'guitars a-blazin', vocals amazin' kind of a classic rock evening."
