LOUDNESS Writing New Song For Japanese Anime Movie, Release Date Set For December

According to BW&BK;'s Japan-based source, LOUDNESS is contributing a song entitled 'The Eternal Soldiers' as an intro theme for the new anime movie Mazinkaizer SKL, due to hit Japanese theaters this this December. The single will be released on December 15th via Lantis. The song has been compared to 'Death Machine' from the band's latest album, King Of Pain. More details will be revealed soon.
As previously reported, Loudness recently announced a third memorial show to founding drummer Munetaka Higuchi, who passed away on November 30th, 2008 following a long battle with liver cancer. It will take place on Sunday, November 14th at CC Lemon Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Support acts on the bill will be LAZY, TAIJI WITH HEAVEN'S / ex-X JAPAN bassist Taiji Sawada, PAY MONEY TO MY PAIN and DUSTAR-3.
Loudness' new album, King Of Pain, was released in Japan on May 19th. A video for the title track can be seen below. The album features Suzuki's recording debut with Loudness. The album tracklist is as follows:
