KROKUS' Marc Storace - "We Are Kinda Woodstock Babies"
November 27, 2010, 14 years ago
Greece's Rockpages Web Magazine conducted an exclusive interview with KROKUS' frontman, Marc Storace. An excerpt from the chat follows:
Rockpages.gr: Was it your idea to cover (STEPPENWOLF's) 'Born To Be Wild'?
Krokus: "No, it was a band idea, because, you know, Woodstock. We are kinda Woodstock babies, Woodstock teenagers and the motto 'born to be wild' really fits us. We are still doing it and we’re close to 60. It’s… you get into the bus, sleep in the bus, get to the next venue, sleep in a hotel room. Interviews, meeting people."
Rockpages.gr: You are one of the most well-known bands in Switzerland and you’ve been around for all these years. What’s the driving force behind the band?
Krokus: The passion of being on stage. I’m definitely the live animal! For me that is the goal! It starts when we are writing a song. We are trying to see it live, with a crowd. How that would work.
