Sign With Team All About The Music has announced the addition of ultra-tech metallers JOURNAL to their roster. Residing in Sacramento, California, Journal's influential 2007 debut, Casualties Of War, garnered the band quite the reputation as a fresh take on progressive / technical metal, and the band began to grow a cult-like following who could not get enough of the extremely infectious Journal.
Now even leagues better on their latest 2010 release, Unlorja, the dudes are expanding tech metal into unimaginable dimensions, thinking both musicianship and concept. Calculated to the exact decimal, Journal's jaw dropping math / technical death metal onslaught can be compared to the schizophrenic side of THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, while equally as much the band’s adventurous prog side can be compared to DREAM THEATER.
