HATETREND, a five-piece "groove machine" from Helsinki, Finland, will release their debut album, Violated, on February 16th, 2011 via Violent Journey Records.

Hatetrend were formed in 2002 by vocalist Markus Mutta. After 5 demos and great reviews they decided to hit the studio and record their debut album. Produced by Anssi Kippo (producer of CHILDREN OF BODOM’s Hate Crew Deathroll), Violated really delivers a heavy punch that vibrates through your flesh and bones. A mixture of different metal genres, Hatetrend's music is fresh and relevant.

Hatetrend will soon hit the road in support of Violated.
