MATT SORUM Says New Solo Effort From CHERIE CURRIE Album Almost Finished

Drummer Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES) continues to work on the upcoming solo record from CHERIE CURRIE (THE RUNAWAYS) and has issued the following update via Twitter:
"Getting real close to a finished album. Have 11 tracks, some overdubs and vocals to do and maybe two more after the New Year. Mix, master and get out to the world. A great rock n' roll record I must say. Many guests as well to be included."Currie's new album is expected to be released in spring 2011. Stay tuned for further updates.
