Ex-SKID ROW Drummer Phil Varone Feared Under-Performing for Nude Playgirl Shoot
December 20, 2010, 13 years ago
According to Female First, rocker Phil Varone was feeling the pressure in the days leading up to his nude covershoot for Playgirl magazine, because he feared he would be under too much stress to perform in front of the cameras.
The former Skid Row drummer admits stripping completely bare for the women's publication was daunting and he worried he would not be able to measure up for the duration of the shoot.
He tells Wenn, "It's one thing to do a photoshoot, it's another thing to be completely nude obviously, and then to be a man on top of it because there's so many things that could go wrong, if you know what I mean! It was kinda like I had to perform and there was this time frame where the photographer wanted these erect shots, so it got a little stressful."
