BLOOD STAIN CHILD members Ryu (guitars) and Sophia (vocalist) are featured in a new CNN article focusing on the Japanese metal scene. An excerpt is available below.
Sophia, vocalist of young Osaka-based group Blood Stain Child, explains that not all Visual Kei bands have a metal sound -- some lean more towards rock or punk. Moreover, the scene tends to focus on looks above all else.
“Visual perfection can be intoxicating, sometimes making people forget that being a musician is actually about playing music,” she laughs. The local metal community has remained relatively small and underground. But Blood Stain Child is determined to succeed internationally.
Sophia says, “As long as there are good metal bands out there that also know how to promote their music, the scene will grow.”

More details about the release in Japan and overseas will be announced in due course. This time we received a exciting contract offer by Disarmonia Mundi's main personality, Ettore Rigotti.
Apart from that, we are currently focused, spreading our wings towards the world and for this cause, we would gladly accept all your support and assistance. I am recording lead and solo guitar parts for BSC 5th album. I hope to play in Europe and U.S.A and all over the world!
