SHAKRA - Release Date For New Album Confirmed, Cover Art Revealed

Swiss rockers SHAKRA will release a new album entitled Back On Track via AFM Records on February 25th. The record will feature the debut of new singer John Prakesh, who joined the band earlier this year. A teaser for the album is available below.
The band issued the following statement regarding the entrance of Prakesh in November 2009:
"After many weeks of intensive searching for a new singer, we are now very happy to announce that we finally found our new frontman. It is Swiss guy John Prakesh who originates in India! John lives in Zuzwil (SG), is 30 years old and was the lead singer of the hard rock band PRAKESH up to now. John has left behind more than 100 competitors (some of them very prominent) and impressed us in many ways! ...We are totally delighted with the sound of John’s voice and his singing skills....He is a really nice, open-minded guy with a good sense of humor! We have now worked with John in the Studio as well as in the rehearsal room, and also had some longer conversations. We couldn’t be happier when looking ahead into the future!"
