MOLLY HATCHET Confirmed For Sweden Rock Festival 2011

Jacksonville, Florida-based southern rock legends MOLLY HATCHET are the latest act confirmed for the 2011 edition of the Sweden Rock Festival, set to take place from June 8th - 11th in Sölvesborg.
None other than LYNYRD SKYNYRD vocalist Ronnie Van Zant exclaimed that Molly Hatchet sounded exactly like he wanted Lynyrd Skynyrd to sound. Molly Hatchet hit major league status even with their first two albums Molly Hatchet (1978) and Flirtin' With Disaster (1979), and the latter's title track remains the band's biggest hit to date. Through their long career, they've had their share of problems, including the passing of two original members. Nevertheless, the current Molly Hatchet, centered around founder Dave Hlubek (guitar) and long-time members Phil McCormack (vocals) and Bobby Ingram (guitar), keeps on rocking - to the delight of their many faithful fans.
