MIKE PORTNOY, NEAL MORSE Start Recording New Project With STEVE MORSE, DAVE LARUE, CASEY MCPHERSON

Today, January 3rd, 2011, drummer Mike Portnoy (ex-DREAM THEATER) and multi-instrumentalist Neal Morse (TRANSATLANTIC, SPOCK'S BEARD) start recording a new project with guitarist Steve Morse (DEEP PURPLE, DIXIE DREGS), bassist Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs) and vocalist Casey McPherson (ALPHA REV, ENDOCHINE).
Says Portnoy: "It's a new year and time for new beginnings... (today) I start 2011 Project #1 (of many more to come): MP, Steve Morse, Neal Morse, Dave LaRue and Casey McPherson... the musical potential is off the charts! Very exciting indeed..."
