THIN LIZZY Keyboardist Darren Wharton Readies New DARE Album

THIN LIZZY keyboardist Darren Wharton has told Helen Harper from North Wales Weekly News that his other gig DARE has a new album called Calm Before the Storm coming out in April or May, which will be followed by best of later this year.
In the meantime, Wharton and his Thin Lizzy band mates - guitarist Scott Gorham, drummer Brian Downey, singer Ricky Warwick (THE ALMIGHTY) and guitarist Vivian Campbell (DEF LEPPARD) - recently returned from Los Angeles where the band has been rehearsing for their upcoming European tour.
About the new incarnation of the band minus iconic frontman Phil Lynott, who died in 1986 (25th Anniversary was on January 4th) at the age of just 36, Wharton comments:
“We all wish Phil was with us, we miss him, but it’s not going to happen, so this is the next best thing. We still think about him and so this is about the music and doing it proud."
