Virginia State Police Retrace Steps In Morgan Harrington Case
January 25, 2011, 13 years ago
According to WSLS 10, a year after her remains were found, Virginia State Police on Tuesday retraced what they know about Morgan Harrington's disappearance and killing.
Troopers gave reporters, along with Dr. Dan and Gil Harrington, Morgan's parents, a special walkthrough of the area on an Albemarle County farm where investigators found Harrington's remains in January of 2010.
State Police Special Agent Dino Cappuzzo is one of the officers who lead the walkthrough. Agent Cappuzzo said he wanted to show the public just how remote the location is. Cappuzzo believes the killer or killers had been to the location before.
"This is a location where someone is going to come where they feel comfortable. Where they feel a low degree of stress involved in coming here," said Agent Cappuzzo.
