DEATH AUDIO Announce Lineup Changes
January 27, 2011, 13 years ago
Australia's DEATH AUDIO has issued the following update:
"The start of 2011 has marked the start of a massive year for Death Audio. Through past hardships and triumphs and the exit of guitarist and friend Fabian Kahwati, Death Audio has emerged, improved, stronger and more determined than ever before. We would like to take this opportunity to announce two very major and exciting changes to the Death Audio lineup. First and foremost our comrade Jaymz will no longer be playing bass with us in Death Audio, he has abandoned the five stringed death machine and has taken over where Fabian left off as our new guitarist; you can expect an adverse experience as Jaymz now gets to fulfil his passion and unleash chops of a whole new magnitude alongside band veteran Will Borland. We then had the task to find a partner in crime to complete the DA lineup. We are excited to announce that Clint Patzel, former bassist from PICTURE THE END has come on board and brings another diverse and unique style to the band that we can’t wait to show you all.
We have decided to put together a 3 Shows In 3 Days mini tour to welcome Clint into the band. What better way to show a bloke that we are stoked to have him here than cram him into a van and drag him across a border and back on a fairly involved schedule from Ballarat across to Adelaide with our mates THE AUTOMATA and then back to Melbourne for a Flood Relief Charity Show. It’s a good thing Death Audio is fuelled by Monster Energy to keep us high and active!
On Friday the 18th of February, we finally hit Ballarat for a show at Eastern Station.
Saturday the 19th of February, we make our first appearance in Adelaide at the Enigma Bar.
Sunday the 20th of February, we charge our way back into Melbourne for a very worthy cause at The Tote - Flood Relief 2011.
Unfortunately we have decided to push the album back a couple more months to give the new guys an opportunity to express themselves in our music, rather than express parts written by former members. This has resulted in some involved restructuring and so far very positive and exciting outcomes that we can’t wait to share with all of you, as well as other great new things happening in the upcoming months. Keep it metal."
