Japan's BLOOD STAIN CHILD took part in the annual GekiRock Fest, which ran January 28th - 30th in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo respectively and included Italy's DESTRAGE, Spain's RISE TO FALL and Japan's METAL SAFARI. Greek female vocalist Sophia has issued the following recap:

Day 1: Nagoya

"I never had the chance to visit Nagoya before, although I love Nagoya bands with a passion. Next time I wanna do some sightseeing as well.

I went to Nagoya from Tokyo with the shinkansen and Ryo kun and the guys came to pick me up from the station. We met up with Destrage and Rise To Fall at the rehearsal. It's a matter of fact that Spanish, Italians and Greeks share lots of common characteristics, so I kinda felt relaxed and happy, enjoying the stress-free, light atmosphere. It somehow reminded me of Greece. Greek people are generally warm-hearted and the guys reminded me of this positive feeling. That moment I felt that GekiRock would be a really great three day experience.

I've also gotta point out that Nagoya fans are nuts! Some people did stage diving while we were playing! I enjoyed the show a lot and I was happy I could talk with so many people, fans and other bands who appeared on that day. Thank you so much!"

As previously reported, Blood Stain Child have announced two more shows for Japan. Dates are as follows:

February

20 - Hiroshima - Namiki Junction

March

5 - Nagoya - OZON

Blood Stain Child will make their first ever live appearance in the US at the A-KON 22 in Dallas, TX, which runs from June 10-12, 2011. A-KON is one of America's largest Japanese culture events. Stay tuned for details, go to this location for event information.
