THE BURNING Part Ways With Bassist; Seek Replacement
February 10, 2011, 13 years ago
Danish groove metal outfit THE BURNING are searching for a new bassist. Thue Møller has left the band for health reasons.
The band commented: "Thue has been struggling with tinnitus for a while, and, unfortunately, it has only been getting worse, and his doctor now advises him to quit music altogether. We are very sad to see him go, and we hope he will get better soon."
Here's what the band expect from their new bassist: "The band seeks a new dedicated, experienced replacement, that can step into a band with high tour activity. It's less important if you playing style is fast, technical or heavy and basic, as long as you pound that thing with everything you've got, can let loose, and have no problem being away from home."
If you think you're the right one, feel free to contact the band at band@theburning.dk.
The Burning recently uploaded the second official video from their new album, Hail The Horde, which was released on October 25 via Massacre Records.
This time it's the title song, 'Hail The Horde', that gets the video treatment. The video features guest vocals from Scott and Bjørn Jensen (DAWN OF DEMISE). Check out the video below.
The new album was produced, mixed and mastered by Jacob Bredahl (HATESPHERE, PURIFIED IN BLOOD) with drum recording by Tue Madsen (SUICIDE SILENCE, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, SICK OF IT ALL). The cover was made by Brent Elliot White (MEGADETH, DEATH ANGEL, WHITE CHAPEL)
