CHICKENFOOT - the band featuring vocalist SAMMY HAGAR (ex-VAN HALEN, MONTROSE), bassist Michael Anthony (ex-Van Halen), drummer Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) and guitar virtuoso JOE SATRIANI - take a moment while recording their new album to check in and talk about recording, burgers, Ric Flair and sing some LITTLE RICHARD. According to the Van Halen News Desk, Chickenfoot have been in the studio working on the follow-up to their hugely successful debut CD and after only two weeks have already recorded a dozen tracks.
The band are working with Mike Fraser (AC/DC, METALLICA) at Sammy Hagar’s private studio in Northern California and are having fun and working at a lightning pace.
Adds Mad Anthony, “We’re all very excited about the new songs and can’t wait to share them with our fans!”
