DARKEST HOUR has released another new song from their upcoming record. Fitting for today's national holiday, the song is called 'Love As A Weapon'. Hear it at their official Facebook page by “liking” it here. Once you like, be sure to click the “listen” tab along the left side bar.

The band's new album, The Human Romance, is to be released in Europe via Century Media Records on March 7th. The album will be released in North America on February 22nd for new label eOne Music. Renowned SOILWORK guitarist Peter Wichers, along with the band, produced the record himself.

The band has also released the sixth chapter of their behind the scenes studio footage today, see it below:

Darkest Hour recently shot a video for their new single, 'Savor The Kill', in Los Angeles, CA. The video was directed by Ramon Boutviseth (TRIVIUM, ALL THAT REMAINS). Information on its premiere will be coming soon.

This time around, the Darkest Hour songs were composed a bit differently than was the case in the past. Guitarist and founding member Mike Schleibaum explains, "We have been working on these tunes ever since we left the studio last April.”

Schleibaum continues, "The Eternal Return was written during a very dark, bleak time for the band and I think that record matches that in both tone and character. Our vision was for it to be an in-your-face, no-frills aggressive assault. The new material shares in that aggression and pushes Darkest Hour beyond the unknown."

The band recently completed an Australian tour with CARFINEX and will continue their 15 Year Anniversary Legacy tour in Europe through the middle of February. The band's next tour has them headlining the Atticus Metal Tour along side BORN OF OSIRIS.
