Former CARNIVORE, WHIPLASH Members Form BROOKLYN MILITIA

BROOKLYN MILITIA consists of experienced musicians with roots in Brooklyn/European thrash metal and hardcore.
They are:
Paul Bento - guitarist from the legendary CARNIVORE who also appeared on various TYPE O NEGATIVE recordings playing sitar, tambora and guitar.
Rich Day - bassist for 80's thrash band PRIMAL SCREAM who played in WHIPLASH and several other bands including DEATHCORPS and THE BURN VICTIMS.
Joe Cangelosi - former drummer for east coast thrash pioneers Whiplash, who also had the drum seat for German thrash legends KREATOR. Other bands Joe played with were MASSACRE, Deathcorps, The Burn Victims, CEREBRAL HEMORRHAGE and others.
The music is a mixture of heavy, blazing, aggressive thrash metal with the attitude and power of punk and hardcore.
