According to People.com, POISON singer Bret Michaels is recovering so well from surgery in January to repair a hole in his heart that he's ready to perform again next month.

"I am pumped to get back on the road and start rocking out on stage for all my awesome fans,” Michaels, 47, says.

His rep adds: "He's already getting back into his active lifestyle by working out and running on the treadmill."
