Never-before-seen footage from MÖTLEY CRÜE’s second concert has been unearthed to promote the rock/metal themed auctions from eBay seller EliteWorks.
On April 25th, 1981, Mötley Crüe were opening for Y&T; at The Starwood, and their manager at the time [Allan Coffman] hired Bell Piper to videotape the performance which featured the Crüe’s unrecorded cover of THE BEATLES 1966 classic, 'Paperback Writer'. The song was dropped quickly thereafter and replaced with 'Jailhouse Rock'.
Dozens of Mötley Crüe collectibles are featured among the 84 auctions, including a newly added promotional only, Umatic videotape master from June 1981 of the band’s first two music videos ('Take Me To The Top' and 'Public Enemy#1').
