JON LORD - Public Lecture To Be Held At University Of The West Of Scotland

Former DEEP PURPLE keyboard player Jon Lord will deliver a lecture on improvisation and musicianship at University Of The West Of Scotland's Paisley Campus on Thursday, February 24th at the Brough Hall, Paisley Campus at 2pm.

John Lord is recognised for his Hammond organ blues-rock playing and unique sound and for his pioneering work in fusing rock and classical or baroque forms. He has most famously been a member of Deep Purple, the band he co-founded in 1968.

The Brough Hall can be entered via the main High Street entrance to the University campus. The Brough Hall has disabled access.

On-street parking is available around the campus or in the public car park on Storrie Street.

This lecture is free and open to the public but you must register your interest in attending the lecture here and you will be notified by email if you have been given a place.
