Max Cavalera - famed original frontman of Brazilian metal legends SEPULTURA, co-contributor to NAILBOMB, frontman for SOULFLY and CAVALERA CONSPIRACY - has issued an audio update on his TheLiveLine profile regarding Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfly, and a new project featuring DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN singer Greg Puciato.

In his audioblog, Cavalera says the new Cavalera Conspiracy album is “heavier, more brutal, and more aggressive than Inflikted.” They will be touring in 2011 by starting off opening for IRON MAIDEN in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the end of March followed by a US Tour and European Festivals in the summer.

Cavalera also mentioned that Soulfly is taking a temporary break, but he will start writing new material at the end of the year and a 2012 release should be expected.

He and Greg are currently selecting musicians to join them in their upcoming project which should be released in 2012.

Cavalera asks his fans to give him a phone call and let him know what they think – Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfly, the new project, or anything else. Give him a call at (888) 716-5450 or visit his TheLiveLine profile.
