STEELWING Hit Hard By Loss Of GARY MOORE
February 24, 2011, 13 years ago
Nyköping, Sweden-based STEELWING, who just returned from a very successful tour with ACCEPT, were hit hard by the loss of legendary guitarist GARY MOORE (THIN LIZZY), especially guitarist Robby Rockbag:
"Gary Moore was undoubtedly the greatest guitar player who ever lived. I was first introduced to Gary Moore's playing when I was about fifteen years old. I had just started playing guitar when I discovered his Wild Frontier album. I was immediately hooked on his style of playing and, without knowing it, I had discovered my most important guitar hero and a source of inspiration for years to come.“

In other news, bass player Skürk has left the band and Steelwing are looking for a replacement. Check all details at this location.
Steelwing are currently working on their successor to Lord Of The Wasteland, which is expected to be released early 2012 via NoiseArt Records.
