Polish technical death metal band DECAPITATED continue their work at Radio Gda?sk Studio in Poland, recording their Nuclear Blast debut and follow-up to 2006’s Organic Hallucinosis.

Guitarist and founding member Wacek "Vogg"Kie?tyka checks in once again from the studio:

"We are half-way through with guitar tracking. All is going according to the plan and in a few days we are starting with the bass. The guitars sound heavy yet very selective. I must admit we have come up with a very original sound that in my opinion resembles 'black storm clouds'. Heinrich (bass) is coming to the studio the day after tomorrow and we will crack on with the bass then. Malta is a very demanding engineer and he is controlling the whole situation meticulously. The new material is beginning to take its shape and it is getting more and more interesting. Take it easy folks!”

Decapitated’s fifth studio album is being produced by Wacek Kieltyka and sound engineered by Malta Arkadiusz Malczewski. Drums are being recorded with Daniel Bergstrand (BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, KEEP OF KALESSIN, DEFLESHED), who is also handle mixing duties.

Decapitated's line-up includes: Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka on guitar, Kerim "Krimh" Lechner (THORNS OF IVY, TONE INTIMACY) on drums, Rafa? Piotrowski (KETHA, FORGOTTEN SOULS) on lead vocals, and Filip "Heinrich" Halucha (VESENIA, ROOTWATR, UNSUN, MASACHIST) on bass.
