March 8, 2011, 13 years ago
Chicago, IL's BLOODIEST will release their debut full-length, Descent, on March 29th in North America (April 4th internationally) via Relapse Records. Descent was recorded with engineer Sanford Parker at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio studios in Chicago.
Bloodiest are among the 12 bands premiering new music exclusively via Epitonic.com today in celebration of the site’s official re-launch. Originally launched in 1999, Epitonic.com became a hotbed of music discovery offering free and legal MP3s with each song being selected and written about by a young staff of music lovers. Epitonic ’11 aims to recapture the spirit of the original site by curating and filtering underground music but using new technology that was not available ten years ago.
Bloodiest are offering their track 'Slave Rule', off their debut album Descent, via Epitonic here. This follows the band’s premiere of Descent album opener 'Fallen', last week here, and the premier of the track 'Pastures', online now at this location.
Descent is available for pre-order here and digitally via iTunes.
Bloodiest has announced a co-record release show in support of Descent with label-mates INDIAN for April 9th at Subterranean in Chicago, IL. Doors are at 9 PM and tickets are available at this location.
