DEFENDER Issues New Video Update

DEFENDER, the newly formed Los Angeles based heavy metal band featuring founding CELLADOR members Bill Hudson and Mikey Gremio alongside ZODIAC MINDWARD/ex-REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE drummer Bruno Agra, have posted a new video update.
Singer Mikey Gremio answered fan-submitted questions about the how the band came to be, as well as its future and lyrical direction. A short clip of the new track, entitled 'Blackened Heart', can be heard as well.

Defender draws influences from classics like IRON MAIDEN, PANTERA, HELLOWEEN, SKID ROW and METALLICA all the way to the modern hard rock made by SHINEDOWN, AVENGED SEVENFOLD and THREE DAYS GRACE, as well as the aggressiveness of SLAYER, FEAR FACTORY and MESHUGGAH.
Defender intends to create catchy songs with great, hooky melodies, intricate and technical guitar work and heavy, and precise riffing. Lyrically, they touch both real and fictional subjects, such as a futuristic third world war or the need to live the here and the now before it's too late.
