INSENSE - 'Surviving Self Resentment' Video Premieres

Norway's INSENSE have released the first taste from their forthcoming album, Burn In Beautiful Fire, due out April 8th. The single, entitled 'Surviving Self Resentment', is now available via iTunes and wherever you buy your digital music. The track is accompanied by a music video, which can be viewed below:

According to a press release, Insense have been called a combination of the “time signatures in the noise tech vein of the new DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, with the subtlety of NEUROSIS coupled with the extreme controlled aggression of SLIPKNOT”. Others cited “SEPULTURA's raw heaviness, MESHUGGAH's technical prowess, and STRAPPING YOUNG LAD’s ornate song structuring.”
First time I heard them, I wanted more,” says Insense manager/IN FLAMES frontman Anders Fridén. “They have this amazing ability to sound extreme yet poised, dark yet beautiful, hardcore yet soft, technical yet simplistic, all without falling into the “pathetic”-trap. They are an extreme metal band that’s comfortable to listen to. They’re difficult to categorize that way.”
