Hank Pearl from The Daily Rock interviewed Jean-Francois Dagenais, guitarist for Canadian melodic death metal band KATAKLYSM, prior to the band's show at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago, IL, on their Spread The Venom tour.
The two discuss how a band that has been around for two decades can just now break Billboard's Heatseakers chart, the various meanings behind the new Heaven's Venom album, and why a man like Dagenais, who performs with and produces many other acts, keeps coming back to Kataklysm no matter what.
