Drummer MIKE PORTNOY Schedules European Meet & Greet Tour

Ex-DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy has announced the following 2011 European Meet & Greet Tour dates:
April
10 - Adams Drumworld - CC Het Loo, Tessenderlo11 - Ottava - Roma, Italy
12 - Cherubini - Roma, Italy
13 - Musik Produktiv Schweiz AG - Niederlenz AG, Switzerland
14 - Thomann - Burgebrach, Germany
15 - Session Music - Frankfurt, Germany
As previously reported, ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante and bassist Frank Bello, MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson, and Mike Portnoy are joining forces for the Metal Masters Clinic, scheduled for April 21st at 6 PM at Sam Ash Music in Cerritos, California.

Portnoy recently sat down with Remo Percussion to discuss projects currently in the works and his future plans. Check out the footage below.
Portnoy recently announced via Twitter that he is working on a new project with SYMPHONY X vocalist Russell Allen, stating: "VERY excited about a new project I'm working on w one my fav singers in the world: my bro Sir Russell Allen.. .wait til you hear this sh*t!!!"
In an update, Portnoy tweets: "Cutting drums with Russell Allen and (guitarist) Mike Orlando (SONIC STOMP) for this new project we have brewin'... this stuff is SLAMMIN! Contrary to (an online) report, the project with Russell Allen and Mike Orlando doesn't have a name yet... more release and personnel info soon."
