EVILE Confirmed For Dokk'em Open Air Festival

British thrashers EVILE are the latest act confirmed for the 2011 edition of the Dokk'em Open Air Festival, which is scheduled for May 28th at Spriens Raard in Dokkum, Netherlands. Raard is a mound in the village Dongeradeel in one of the most beautiful areas of the province of Friesland. A pre-party, Dokk'em Rockt!, will take place on May 27th.
Acts on the bill now include: ALESTORM, CIRRHA NIVA, DGM, EVERGREY, EVILE, HAMMERFALL, KAMPFAR, THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE, PAGAN'S MIND, TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED, VADER, VICIOUS RUMORS, VREID.
On Friday, May 6 sees Highway to Dokk'em where five metal bands compete for the coveted position of opening Dokk'em Open Air. Highway to Dokk'em is a talent training project in cooperation with the Friesland Pop and bands can register until March 31 via Friesland Pop. Winners are chosen by a jury and by an audience. The evening ends in style with American thrash metal band DEATH RIDERS (featuring former ANTHRAX singer Neil Turbin).
