RUSH - Neil Peart To Appear On CBC's Strombo Tomorrow

RUSH Is A Band report that drummer Neil Peart and BRUCE COCKBURN will be guests on the CBC's Strombo (formerly The Hour With George Stroumboulopoulos) this coming Monday, March 21st.

"Although not yet officially listed on the show's website, Superconductor at Counterparts received an email announcing the appearance. Counterparts member RUSHGIRL then called the show and confirmed the appearance along with the fact that there are no tickets currently available with a waiting list of 90 people. Although both Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have been guests on the show multiple times, this will be Neil Peart's first appearance."

According to Mediacastermagazine.com, Rush's Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will be part of the 40th Anniversary of the Juno Awards airing from Toronto's Air Canada Centre on Sunday, March 27th.

For the first time since CTV's inaugural Juno Awards broadcast in 2002, Canada's Music Awards will expand to two-and-a-half hours, the network has confirmed.

The show will air live on the main CTV network, will specialty channels providing additional red carpet coverage. The Awards show will also be available online, on demand, following the TV broadcast.

Producer Kevin Churko has been nominated for Recording Engineer Of The Year for the OZZY OSBOURNE tracks 'Let It Die' and 'Life Won’t Wait from his largest album, Scream.
