TURISAS violinist Olli Vänskä is featured in a new video interview, conducted by Planet Mosh TV on the weekend of March 18th - 19th at HammerFest 2011 in Prestatyn, North Wales. Check it out below:
Turisas frontman Mathias Nygard recently issued the following statement with regards to the band's upcoming tour of Spain and Portugal:
"We’ve always had a very strong support on the Iberian peninsula and we’re of course extremely happy about that. Over the years we’ve often been over there as part of a support act, but we felt we owed our fans in Spain and Portugal some proper headline shows for a change. We’ve been trying to make this happen for ages, but it’s taken time. So now we're definitely coming, make you turn up and show your support! I'm sure we’ll have some amazing shows happening! We think this trip will prove that bands could do so much more on the Iberian peninsula, if they had the courage to just go a bit further and explore it. We are super excited about it!
