PARADISE LOST Reschedule Paris Date; German Show Announced
March 24, 2011, 13 years ago
British doom/goth metal pioneers PARADISE LOST have announced that due to the fire at the Elysée Montmartre, the band had to reschedule the Draconian Times show in Paris, France. The new date is Sunday, April 3rd and will take place at the Bataclan in Paris.
As the band is unable to perform in France on March 30th, Paradise Lost will be playing a club gig in Köln, Germany on Wednesday, March 30th instead. This show will be at the Luxor, and ticket details for this show will be available soon.
Vocalist Nick Holmes comments: "After the success of the Bochum show selling out we are pleased to be able to announce a last-minute extra date in Koln at the Luxor on Wednesday 30th March. As many of you know this date was originally intended to be the Elysée Montmartre show in Paris. Unfortunately, as you are probably aware by now, there was a fire at the Elysée Montmartre which we are all deeply saddened by because we've had many good times there in the past and we're looking forward to playing there again at some point in the future. Despite this tragedy we have managed to arrange an alternative Parisian show at the Bataclan on the 3rd of April. For anyone who wasn't able to buy tickets for Bochum we hope you can join us on the 30th in Koln and celebrate these gigs with us!"
Paradise lost shows are as follows:
March
29 – Tivoli - Utrecht, NL30 - Luxor - Köln, Germany
31 – Zeche - Bochum, Germany
April
1 - HMV Forum - London, UK3 – Bataclan - Paris, France
