Northeast Ohio-based metallers WRETCH are seeking a new second guitarist. Guitarist Shaun Vanek (ETERNAL LEGACY, CELLBOUND, MANIMALS, BREAKER) had been filling this role on a part-time basis the past couple of years but is unable to continue due to his busy schedule and other band commitments.

"We're looking for a guitarist who can practice regularly and become a permanent full-time member of the band," says Wretch guitarist and main songwriter Nick Giannakos. "We'd like to thank Shaun for his help and wish him the best with his other projects".

The band added drummer Butch Likens in February.

Wretch is gearing up for the release of their brand new as-yet-untitled studio album, due out later this year on Auburn Records. The album is being recorded at Noise Floor Studios in Cleveland with Breaker guitarist Don Depew producing.

"We've been busy in the studio recording and will be starting the final mix soon," adds Giannakos. "There are still some guitar parts that need to be finished the new guitarist can contribute to if we are able to find the right person in time. We'd like to have the lineup set in place before the release of the album so we can properly prepare for both regional and overseas live shows."

Wretch was one of the feature bands at the 2007 Headbangers Open Air festival in Germany and wrote the festival anthem 'Make This Garden Burn'.
